Northwood Poms Team

Miss Daniella Hagan (pictured center) is a current MCPS Teacher at Parkland Magnet Middle School and has been the Northwood HS Poms Head Coach since 2007. Prior to taking the coaching position at Northwood High School, she worked at the Little Gym of Olney teaching Ballet, Tap and Gymanastics. As a former award-winning MCPS pom captain Coach Hagan, understands the hardwork, dedication and skills needed to build a successful poms program. Under the direction of Coach Hagan, the Northwood Poms team has earned over 20 team awards, including best choreography and the sportsmanship award. Coach Hagan earned her Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park & Masters in Leadership of Teaching from Notre Dame of Maryland. Today, Coach Hagan continues to attend dance workshops to improve her training.
